Advance Pro was very proud to be involved with the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games in partnership with Mid Canada Video Productions to supply and install a custom designed multimedia display showcasing the Province of Manitoba at the 2010 Winter Games.
Advance Pro was instrumental in offering design assistance, supplying hardware, automation and onsite installation. 36 Panasonic 42” Plasma displays were installed on a rotating truss equiped with the latest in video with Cat5 signalling technology. With each turn of the truss the video would change to a display the seasons of the year showing a variety of panoramic shots of Manitoba. The video showcased the provinces scenic beauty, culture, ethnic diversity, aboriginal heritage, tourist attraction and the province’s economic diversity.
Automation was controled by a Crestron control system. In addtion, 8 touch equipped 22” NEC displays on the rotating column offer visitors an interactive experience to explore Manitoba, while a touch kiosk in the rear of the pavilion offerd an interactive experience to explore the newly announced Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR).The all new line of JBL CRV Control Contractor speakers were used to provide sound reinforcement. The outside entrance of the pavillion featured (2) Samsung displays showing personalized photos and personalized messages from visitors to the CMHR Kiosk. - Project Completed January 2010, Vancouver, BC.
